Erelu Olusola Idowu Agbeja Obada was born on 27 June 1951, to the Agbejanlabofa family of Ibodi in Ijesaland. Her father, Prince David Olatunde Agbeja was a Permanent Secretary in the Old Western Region and one-time Managing Director of the now defunct National Bank of Nigeria Limited.
She began her primary school education at St. John’s Primary School, Iloro, Ilesa, but later transferred to the U.M.C. Demonstration School, Oke-Ado, Ibadan.
For her secondary education, she attended Queens School, Ede, later moving to its Ibadan campus. After her secondary school education, she studied Advertising Administration at the Watford College of Technology in England. She later read a degree in Law at the University of Buckingham in England, graduating top of her class in 1985.
She started her working life as Advertising Officer of the then Nigeria Airways Limited and later rose to the position of Advertising Manager. Titilayo Laoye-Tomori (born 21 December 1948)[1] is a Nigerian politician, she served as deputy governor of Osun State[2] and commissioner for education from 2010 to 2018.[3] She is colloquially known as “Ipinle Omoluabi” in Yoruba.
Early life and education
[edit]Laoye-Tomori was born in Osogbo, Osun State, to the Amon Oyeyemi Laoye family. She was educated in Owe at St. Catherine Girls Grammar School and at Victory College in Ikare before continuing to the University of Lagos, generally known as UNILAG, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in history in year 1973. She earned a postgraduate diploma in education in 1978 and a Masters in Public Administration in 1984.[4]
Career

She worked there for six years before joining the University of Lagos as an assistant registrar. She was the Principal Assistant Registrar by the time she left in 1989.
