    Joseph Powell Zettler, Sr., known to many as "Joe," passed away on Thursday, February 29, surrounded by his loving family at Memorial Hospital.

    Born in Savannah, Joe lived a fulfilling life as a truck driver for many years. Described as a down-to-earth and simple man, he was cherished by all who knew him.

    In his free time, Joe found the greatest joy in spending precious moments with his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will be deeply missed by his surviving family members: his wife, Jackie S. Zettler; son, Joseph Powell Zettler, Jr. (Marcie); daughters, Tiffany Zettler (Jenn) and Jenna Zettler; grandchildren, Joseph Zettler III, Mattie Zettler, Emma Zettler, Morgan Zettler, Logan Zettler, Bonnie Crane, Ava Crane, and Wyatt Crane. He is also survived by his sisters, Effie Kelliker (Dan) and Margie Sallette; nephews, David Pleines (Hanah) and Aaron Burke; nieces, Chadia Savas (Jordan), Laura Bledsoe Hawk, Amanda Evans, and Sarah Parker (Matt)

    Joe is reunited in heaven with his parents, Albert and Annie Zettler and sister, Katharine Hawk.
