Sage Steele Biography
Sage Steele may be recognized as a face from the ESPN and ABC networks. Sage was born in in the Panama Canal Zone to parents of Irish and Italian descent. She was considered an “army brat”, as her father was stationed all over the world throughout her childhood. Sage ultimately ended up at Indiana University pursuing a career in broadcasting with the hopes and dreams of specifically becoming a sportscaster. In , this dream became a reality as she became a news producer and reporter for the CBS affiliate network out of Indiana. Sage later went on to obtain a handful of other jobs and positions, including a full-time co-host of SportsCenter. In and , Steele hosted the daytime coverage of the NBA finals for SportsCenter. She currently hosts the Friday and Sunday editions of NBA Countdown on ESPN and ABC and continues to contribute her bubbly personality to viewers across the country.
