Capital Gold joins Biography Channel for promotion
The two-way deal aims to drive awareness of the Biography Channel's Music Month output, and give the radio network a TV presence as sponsor of music biographies including portraits of Paul McCartney, David Gray and Ozzy Osbourne. Creative agency Devil Fish has produced the promotional trails for the sponsorship.
Capital Gold will be running a competition on David Jensen's morning show to promote the biographies, giving listeners the chance to win tickets to see music artists live around the world.
The radio show will also host a month-long Biography Channel-sponsored feature called 'The Story Behind the Song' using Capital Gold's archive, with singers including Sting and Elton John talking about the inspiration behind their most popular tracks.
